OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  • Operate the juicer only on the electric current indicated on the nameplate.
  • Before turning on the switch, be sure the strainer and extracting bulb are securely in place.
  • Always empty strainer when it is ¾ full or less.
  • Do not put juice in galvanized, wood, brass or bronze containers.
  • CLEANING THE JUICER
  • Power cord or motor should not come in direct contact with water.
  • After each use, unplug the juicer, remove and thoroughly wash and dry the spout, dome, strainer and extracting bulb. Wipe away any juice that may have accumulated in the bowl support with a damp sponge.
  • To remove the strainer, slide strainer puller completely under edge of square strainer hub. Turn knob on top of strainer puller clockwise until strainer loosens. Remove strainer puller; lift off strainer and empty contents.
  • JUICER TIPS
    Should your juicer overheat and stop operating, let it cool to room temperature and then press the reset button on the bottom of the machine. Resume juicing.

    To extend the life of your juicer, it is extremely important that liquid does not enter between the bowl support and the motor housing. Do not pick up the juicer by the bowl support. This can cause cracks where liquid can seep into the motor.

    Motor never needs oiling; bearings are grease sealed.
    NOTE: Failure to comply with any of the preceding instructions may result in cancellation of the warranty.

The Sunkist Sectionizer also does a beautiful job of slicing or wedging tomatoes. It is as simple to use as pulling a handle, and is much safer than cutting fruit with a knife. 

When you purchase a Sunkist Sectionizer you get your choice of one of seven different blade cups we offer.
You can also purchase any of the other blade cups and plungers to use in the same machine, making it one of the most versatile sectionizers on the market. The blades are extra sharp to make them last longer, and as an additional safety precaution each one comes with a neoprene cup cover. It is very easy to remove the blade cups and plungers, and they can go in the dishwasher for safe and thorough cleaning.

The Sunkist Auto-90® Sectionizer is an automated version of the very popular tabletop Sectionizer. It uses the same blade cups and plungers and can sectionize up to 90 pieces of fruit per minute.
When you purchase a Sunkist Auto-90® you have your choice of one set of eight of the following blade cups with the corresponding plungers. 4 wedge - 4 evenly spaced and cut wedges 6 wedge - 6 evenly spaced and cut wedges 6 slice - 6 slices 5/16 inches thick 8 wedge - 8 evenly spaced and cut wedges 3-in-1 - 2 halves scored in 3 wedges each single - cuts fruit in half apple - 6 evenly spaced and cut wedges with center core removed In addition to sectionizing citrus fruit, you can use this machine to core and wedge apples and pears. It will also slice firm tomatoes and mushrooms for sandwiches and pizzas or wedge them for salads. The Auto-90® can slice and/or wedge hardboiled eggs, kiwi fruit, small to medium potatoes, strawberries; just about any firm (not hard) fruit or vegetable without pits that will fit through the blade cup. Like our tabletop model, cleanup is a breeze - simply hose down the stainless steel interior with water or steam and throw the blade cups and plungers in the dishwasher for effortless sanitizing.
