All-Clad's basic instructions for cleaning the Master Chef exterior: To remove tarnish and darkening, use a commercial aluminum cleaner. Rub in a circular motion. Rinse in lukewarm water. You may put it in the dishwasher but harsh detergents may darken the aluminum exterior.
